Code 4000 means The card reader not found: The store was unable to connect to the card reader.
What to do:
- Please perform a power cycle on the kiosk by unplugging all power cables from the surge protector for at least 10 - 15 seconds before plugging them back in
- Allow a couple of minutes to pass for the kiosk to come back up
- Observe the tablet screen
- Observe if the card reader has green lights
If you see the error persist, please reach out to support@bytetechnology.co with your findings. We will need to know if you performed a power cycle, what you see on the tablet, and if the card reader has a green light.
