Discounts Overview

The Discounts section of the Dashboard is where you'll set up any discounts and coupons to be applied to products and purchases at a Byte Technology-powered store.

Discounts can be created and applied in real-time or can be set up in advance.

There are several types of discounts you can set up. All are covered in detail in their own section, click the type below to go directly to that page.

Standard: Either dollar or percent to be discounted at selected stores, on selected products that have a single start and end date

Happy Hour: Time based discount - this allows for the discount to turn on and off for a set time frame

Shelf Life: Product SKU shelf-life based discount - applies the discount to specific products that meet set requirements on the number of shelf life days and days left to expiration

Coupons: Customer enters coupon code on the menu screen at the end of the transaction to apply either dollar or percent discount
